[R2] Nessus Versions 10.11.1 and 10.9.6 Fix Multiple Vulnerabilities Arnie Cabral
Nessus leverages third-party software to help provide underlying functionality. Several of the third-party components (expat, libxml2, libxslt) were found to contain vulnerabilities, and updated versions have been made available by the providers.
Out of caution and in line with best practice, Tenable has opted to upgrade these components to address the potential impact of the issues. Nessus Versions 10.9.6 and 10.11.1 update expat to version 2.7.3, libxml2 to version 2.13.9 and libxslt to version 1.1.45 to address the identified vulnerabilities.
